Large Van Hire

SWB and LWB vans, also known as short wheelbase and long wheelbase are ideal for jobs that require that extra bit of space for loading and transporting materials. At Traffic Self Drive, we supply a fleet of modern, secure and well maintained LWB and SWB vans that meet all requirements.

Traffic Self Drive offers the Vauxhall Vivaro L2H1 as our SWB van (short wheelbase, low-roof) which is equivalent to a Ford Transit Custom L2H1. And the Peugeot Boxer L3H2 is our LWB van (long wheelbase, high-roof) with has a larger capacity than the Ford Transit L3H2. All vans have tie-down points to allow you to secure your cargo. 

Vans are available to rent for 1 day or multiple weeks, with lower daily rates for longer hire periods and special prices for a weekend hire (from Saturday morning to Monday morning), so you can be sure of receiving the best value for money when you rent a van from Traffic Self Drive in St Albans. Unlimited mileage is provided for hires of 2 days or more. All vans are available for collection from our office in Park Street village (situated between St Albans and Radlett) with free customer parking available.
