Many of our customers ask what type of car seats their children should use. According to UK Government advice: “Children must normally use a child car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135cm tall“.

The type of car seat to use depends on your child’s weight:

• Babies up to 13kg = Rear-facing infant seat
• Children from 9 to 18kg = Forward-facing strap-in child seat
• Children from 15 to 25kg = Booster seat with back support
• Children over 22kg = Booster cushion
